In addition to the Yurt, we offer a completely off grid wild camping experience.
The slate track that runs through our farm leads you to various pitches with breathtaking views of the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and Pen-Y-Fan. Alternatively, you can discover a more secluded spot lower down, depending on your vehicle's capabilities, weather, and field conditions.
You'll be welcomed by us, friendly sheep, and a variety of dogs and chickens. Our family-run farm strikes the perfect balance between hospitality and privacy.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Escape to an off grid private experience, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature without distractions. While off ground fires are permitted, if you are located near the quarry, you can light a fire on the slate. We offer logs for purchase and have tap water available on the yard at your convenience. Dogs are welcome, but please note that livestock are present on the farm. This is the perfect self sufficient, wild experience.
GETTING TO YOUR PITCH
When you arrive we can show you to a choice of places to set up. It’s essential for your vehicle to have off-road capabilities, whether you’re camping in a tent or a motor home. While the slate track performs well in wet conditions, make sure your vehicle has adequate ground clearance to navigate the terrain safely. The choice of pitches will be in one of our fields so if its been a wet summer please ensure your car is prepared for possible mud.

YOUR PLEDGES
I agree to be self sufficient - I will not expect bins, toilets or, water at the pitch.
I agree to leave no trace - I will take all rubbish away with me and leave no trace.
I agree to the number 2 pledge - I agree to bring a shovel or a self contained toilet and ensure I leave no evidence for future campers.
I agree to drive responsibly and within my capabilities - No unnecessary tyre tracks to be made.
